I love these tiles for producing large trivets backed with 3mm cork. I love the smooth glossy surface which is relatively easy to print- reproducing colours beautifully.
I love using these large tiles to create small temporary murals and framed box art pieces.
Good quality and sub beautifully
This 8x8 Ceramic Coated tile for sublimation is such great quality! I use for heat pressing my artwork onto these tiles, which have been sold all over the world and after heat pressing can be used in a multitude of ways . I heat press my images at 195 temp for 420 seconds on medium pressure (4/5) facedown and the glaze on these tiles after printing is spot on and comes up beautifully every time. They are a good depth .5 of a cm so I don?t need silicone mats to protect from getting broken when pressing. Point to state I have found that you can get lack of print just on the surface edges if you don?t fully stick the print tightly around the tile as it has a tiny fractional slope off the sides of the tile, so don?t just lay it down on a print without taping it. I love this tiles, they come out really fabulous every time. I have had a few tiny bits of the corners chipped on delivery ( mostly from behind, so it pays to check on delivery ) Longforte have replaced these promptly with no hesitation.
The delivery from Longforte has always been very good, within a few days if ordering, the order is with me- I ordered loads last time and they actually came on a wooden crate via a huge artic lorry, which could not go up my off road driveway , unfortunately because the boxes are so very heavy there was a problem shifting them off the roadside quickly, so I will know and remember next time to state be delivered in a 7.5 tonne van instead; to save my back going out!
I absolutely recommend this item, it?s so versatile can be used for so many things, I design tiles for bespoke kitchens and bathrooms, I have my own artwork on tiles which people buy to use as table or worktop savers or incorporate on to worktops and surfaces for something totally different, they can just be hung ( with plate hangers) or framed as a piece of art.
