Troubleshooting and Tips
Ensure sublimation paper designs are completely dry before pressing to prevent shadows and blurring. Over-pressing or excessive temperature causes ink migration, resulting in discolored blacks (appearing brown) and paper adhesion issues.
Verify your press maintains adequate pressure‚ the mug should remain completely immobile once closed, though closure shouldn't require excessive force. For optimal results, remove the sublimation paper immediately after pressing. Alternatively, submerge the pressed mug in room temperature or slightly cooler water, then remove the paper. This technique halts the sublimation process and prevents blurring or shadow defects.
Important Note: The times and temperatures below apply only to the equipment listed in the Specifications tab. These are guideline settings based on tests we've run using various machines to reflect typical customer setups. Your results may vary depending on your equipment, so some trial and error may be needed. Please contact us if you're unsure, as we can't be responsible for issues caused by incorrect settings.
