Troubleshooting and Tips
Unlike our standard 11oz and 10z Durham Mugs these bone china Windsor mugs have a quite different shape to them. Due to the lip at the top of the mug we would not recommend putting these in a mug press as if any pressure is applied to this lip it will damage the mug. Instead we recommend using printing on these using a silicone wrap (you can find them here on our site) and heating them in an oven. You can use a cheap halogen oven home oven or an industrial oven so long as you can maintain a consistent temperature. If you are heating multiple items in an oven you may need to rotate them to ensure they all get even heat. Using a silicone wrap will also help you to create larger designs that are closer to the handle and cover more from the top to the bottom of the mug than would be possible in a mug press.
