Troubleshooting and Tips
Ensure sublimation paper designs are completely dry before pressing to prevent shadows and blurring that compromise print quality.
Monitor temperature and timing carefully—excessive heat or duration causes ink removal, turning blacks brown and making paper difficult to remove from the surface.
Adjust press pressure so it closes with moderate effort but holds the mug completely stationary during the transfer process.
Remove sublimation paper immediately after pressing, or dunk the mug in room temperature water to halt the sublimation process and eliminate blurring or shadow effects.
Important Note: The times and temperatures below apply only to the equipment listed in the Specifications tab. These are guideline settings based on tests we've run using various machines to reflect typical customer setups. Your results may vary depending on your equipment, so some trial and error may be needed. Please contact us if you're unsure, as we can't be responsible for issues caused by incorrect settings.
