Troubleshooting and Tips
Always verify your sublimation paper design is completely dry before pressing to prevent shadows and blurring that compromise print quality.
Monitor press time and temperature carefully. Excessive heat or duration causes ink migration, resulting in discolored prints‚ particularly noticeable when blacks appear brown. The paper may also adhere to the mug surface, making removal difficult.
Confirm adequate press pressure before production runs. The press should close with moderate effort, but once secured, the mug should not move at all within the press.
Remove the sublimation paper immediately after pressing. Alternatively, immerse the mug in room temperature or slightly cooler water immediately after pressing, then remove the paper. This technique halts the sublimation process and eliminates potential blurring or shadow effects.
Important Note: The times and temperatures below apply only to the equipment listed in the Specifications tab. These are guideline settings based on tests we've run using various machines to reflect typical customer setups. Your results may vary depending on your equipment, so some trial and error may be needed. Please contact us if you're unsure, as we can't be responsible for issues caused by incorrect settings.
