These are beautiful ceramic travel mugs. They’re slightly heavier than an 11-ounce mug and hold a little less liquid than an 11-ounce mug. They should be handled with the same care as a regular coffee mug. Each mug comes with a soft silicone lid, making it suitable for travel.
The mug has a tapered shape on the outside. Keep in mind that the interior is even more tapered because of the double-wall construction.
When filled with a hot beverage, the double wall provides some insulation, but the outside of the mug may still become warm.
Because of the tapered design, the beverage may splash through the sip hole if the mug is shaken or jostled slightly - otherwise these are really great.
I misjudged with what equipment i would use so unfortunately cannot print and comment on how they print sublimation wise, i realised very late i didn't have the equipment. However that doesn't stop us :) I'd imagine a UV DTF would be nice. so i'll be testing that going further with this product.
I have not had the opportunity to print the template onto the mug yet, but I designed it on paper to wrap around the mug. The instructions below explain how to recreate it.
Because the mug is tapered, the top and bottom edges of the template are curved rather than straight.
1) Set up a landscape A4 canvas.
2) Draw a horizontal line 261 mm long, centered on the canvas.
3) Position it one-quarter of the way down from the top of the page. This line represents the mug’s top circumference.
4) Mark the center of the 261 mm line. The center point is 130.5 mm from either end.
5) From the center point, draw a vertical line 23.5 mm upward. Mark this point as the top of the upper arch.
6) From the center of the 261 mm line, draw a vertical line 103 mm downward. Mark this point as the top of the lower arch.
7) From that point, continue the vertical line 15.5 mm downward. Mark this final point as the center of the bottom edge.
8) Draw a horizontal line 176 mm long, centered on this final point. This line represents the mug’s bottom circumference.
9) Draw the upper arch by connecting the two ends of the 261 mm line with a smooth curve that rises 23.5 mm at the center.
10) Draw the lower arch by connecting the two ends of the 176 mm line with a smooth curve that rises toward the point marked “top of lower arch.”
11) Connect the left end of the top circumference line to the left end of the bottom circumference line with a straight line. Repeat this on the right side.
The finished template should have two curved edges connected by two straight, angled sides, reflecting the mug’s tapered shape.

Which Mug press works with this Mug
Hi Ross,
You can press on these with any mug press that comes with a 17oz Latte Mug element. The element will push the mug out when closed but you can put something like a ceramic tile or piece of wood on one side to keep the mug in the press.
