Introducing our ORCA AAA Grade 11oz white sublimation mug - a brand name that is famous for it's incredible coating and high-quality ceramic.
ORCA sublimation coating has been formulated in Silicon Valley in the US to a very high standard which means that the durability is unsurpassed and the print results achieved on these mugs are incredible.
In order to be given the Black Grade status, these mugs have to undergo a series of intense tests to test the thickness of the sublimation coating, the integrity of the mug and the absolute consistency of the shape both of the mug and the handle. During the manufacturing process, these mugs are identified and segmented before having the Black Grade logo on them to signify their superior quality.
The thickness of the coating on these white sublimation mugs is 30μm which means that they are made to last. These are also independently certified by SGS for dishwasherproof, food safety and microwave safety for which we have certification that you can download on this page - giving you confidence that you are supplying a genuine, good-quality and reliable product to your customers.
We sell these ORCA 11oz white sublimation mugs as 2 boxes of 36 i.e. 72 mugs. This is to maximise the safety of the product in transit, reduce the unit cost including carriage and is the quantity that the majority of customers like to buy.
The mugs do not come packed in individual mug boxes however we sell a highly-popular range of 11oz smashproof mug mailer boxes that can be used to both ship the mugs as well as gift boxes to be branded as you see fit.
Troubleshooting and Tips
- Always ensure the design on the sublimation paper you are using is fully dry otherwise this will lead to shadows and blurring
- If you have the sublimation mug in the heat press for too long or at too high a temperature the ink will start to remove itself off the mug again. This results in blacks looking brown. The paper may stick to the mug and be difficult to remove
- Ensure your mug press has adequate pressure and adjust if necessary. It should not take much effort to close the press but once closed you should not be able to move the mug at all
- After pressing peel the sublimation paper off the mug immediately. Another alternative is to dunk the mug in water (room temperature or slightly colder) and then remove the mug. This will stop the sublimation process and also prevent any blurring or shadows.

Print Methods
These are the best quality mugs on market, I’ve even tested their longevity compared to the plain unbranded white sublimation mugs. With a mix of hand and dishwasher washes the orca mugs last longer and retain their colour for longer.
I top of that I feel the orca mugs release a much better quality in comparison to the other unbranded coated mugs.
However I did find that the bottom of mug requires a bit more attention and time to give that crisp finish. And because of that fog in the bottom that may occur, full colour is not advisable without care and attention.
