Troubleshooting and Tips
Like our 12oz Latte Mugs these 17oz versions also require a special heating element that is specially made for them. Using a normal 11oz mug heating press will not work and may even damage your machine.
You do not need to have a press that can do these mugs you can also use a silicone mug wrap (our 17oz latte wraps are here). Apply the silicone wrap and then place the mug in an oven for it to print that way.
If you are getting faded marks on the mug the first thing to check is if this is happening in the same part of the mug each time. If so this might be due to a cold spot on your press or too light a pressure being used.
Blacks appearing as faded or brown usually indicates that the item is being pressed at too high a temperature and/ or for too long a time. If this is happening consistently look to reduce the temperature or pressing time.
